Thomas Muller has played down expectations of an immediate Bayern Munich return in a leadership role after retirement. The club legend said he cannot currently imagine stepping quickly into a director or president position at the Allianz Arena.
Muller said a Bayern leadership job cannot be done casually and suggested he needs distance after leaving for Vancouver Whitecaps. He did not rule out a future return, but pushed back against near-term fan expectations.
