Bruno Fernandes equalled the Premier League single-season assist record after setting up Bryan Mbeumo in Manchester United’s 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest. The United captain reached 20 assists, matching Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne.
Fernandes created the record-equalling goal in the 76th minute with a ball across the box. United pushed for another chance to help him break the mark, but Forest’s defending and the woodwork kept him level.
