C Porto have ended their pursuit of Jakub Kiwior after being deterred by Arsenal’s €30 million valuation. The Portuguese side instead signed Jan Bednarek from Southampton for £6.5m. Arsenal have completed the signing of striker Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting CP in a deal worth £55m plus £8.5m in add-ons. The Swedish forward arrives on a five-year deal to bolster Mikel Arteta’s attacking options this coming season.
