Tottenham have signed Scotland forward Kirsty Hanson from Aston Villa for an undisclosed fee. Hanson scored 12 Women’s Super League goals last season, won Villa’s player of the year award and had one year left on her contract.
The move reunites Hanson with Spurs manager Martin Ho, who previously worked with her at Manchester United. Villa lose one of last season’s standout attackers, while Tottenham add proven WSL production after finishing fifth under Ho.
