Napoli, Chelsea and Benoit Badiashile

Napoli and Chelsea have agreed the basis of a €3m loan for defender Benoit Badiashile, with negotiations continuing over the purchase option. The French centre-back has reportedly rejected alternative Premier League interest because he prefers a move to Naples.
Chelsea shifted from demanding a €15m purchase obligation to accepting an option, but now want that option valued between €18m and €20m. Napoli are pushing lower, with their defensive injury crisis increasing pressure to complete the deal quickly.
