Manchester City, Al-Qadsiah and Tijjani Reijnders

Manchester City have agreed a £52m deal to sell Tijjani Reijnders to Saudi club Al-Qadsiah after negotiations advanced from the earlier talks. The Netherlands midfielder is close to agreeing personal terms and trained separately from City’s squad on Thursday.
Reijnders is expected to complete the move after a medical, ending his City spell after only one season. The departure could trigger further midfield recruitment, particularly with Barcelona also pursuing Rodri before the summer transfer window closes.
