Bologna, Fiorentina and Roberto Piccoli

Bologna have finalised a deal to sign Fiorentina striker Roberto Piccoli on an initial loan. The agreement carries an €18m obligation to buy if Bologna remain in Serie A, plus €2m in bonuses and a 10% future resale clause.
Negotiations began around 15 days earlier with Bologna initially seeking a loan containing only an option. The clubs eventually shifted to a survival-linked obligation, giving Fiorentina a clearer path to a permanent sale while Bologna manage the immediate cost.
