Bayern Munich are reportedly considering Benfica defender Tomas Araujo again as they review defensive options for next season. The centre-back can also play at right-back, giving Vincent Kompany another flexible name on the club’s shortlist.
Bayern have held initial talks with Araujo’s camp, but Benfica’s long contract and large release clause make the deal difficult. The move may depend on defensive exits, especially if Min-Jae Kim or Hiroki Ito leave.
