Vitinha said Portugal’s players are motivated to win the World Cup with Cristiano Ronaldo and for him. The midfielder praised Ronaldo’s leadership, professionalism and continued influence inside the national team dressing room.
Speaking ahead of the tournament, Vitinha said Ronaldo’s preparation still sets a standard for Portugal’s squad. He believes the captain’s presence can help drive the team toward the one major trophy missing from Ronaldo’s career.
