Roma and Juventus will meet in the Serie A Women’s Cup final after contrasting semi-final victories. Juventus edged Inter 1-0 through a Van Diemen own goal, while Roma demolished Sassuolo 7-1 with Martina Piemonte scoring a hat-trick.
Roma also received two goals from van Dooren plus strikes from Doms and Giugliano as they overturned an earlier group-stage loss to Sassuolo. Juventus and Roma will contest the trophy next Saturday in Viareggio, repeating last season’s final pairing.
