Declan Rice will be England’s vice-captain at the World Cup, according to Thomas Tuchel. The Arsenal midfielder has 72 caps and is expected to be one of the senior leaders behind captain Harry Kane.
Tuchel said Rice had already taken the armband when Kane was absent earlier in his reign. Rice has now joined England’s United States camp with Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze after Arsenal’s European campaign.
