Como qualified for the Champions League for the first time after beating Cremonese 4-1 on the final day of Serie A. AC Milan’s defeat to Cagliari allowed Cesc Fabregas’ side to leap into fourth.
Como’s win came with late chaos as Cremonese had three players sent off after a controversial penalty. Roma also won to finish third, while Milan dropped into the Europa League and Juventus missed the Champions League places.
