Al-Nassr have formally contacted the AFC to challenge the postponement of their Champions League Elite fixture against Al-Wasl. The Saudi club is seeking clarification and may pursue a claim for the match points.
Al-Nassr submitted documents showing that landing permits and other approvals were available for Al-Wasl’s planned journey to Riyadh. The fixture was postponed after the Emirati club did not travel. Working with Saudi football authorities, Al-Nassr intends to pursue available procedures, although the AFC has not announced a final ruling.
