Abdellah Ouazane and Morocco

Ajax winger Abdellah Ouazane has joined Morocco’s senior national-team camp after choosing the country over the Netherlands. The 17-year-old previously represented Morocco at youth level and said his connection with the team made the decision feel stronger.
Ouazane said he made his choice two years ago and is now focused on learning from Morocco’s experienced internationals while proving himself to head coach Mohamed Ouahbi. The call-up gives the teenager an opportunity to establish himself at senior international level.
