Missouri, Georgia and Florida waived at least $57.8 million in ticket-tax revenue to help host World Cup matches, according to The Athletic. The concessions cover games at Arrowhead Stadium, Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Hard Rock Stadium.

The analysis says the waivers were part of host-city commitments made during the bidding process and may cost more as hospitality sales rise. The finding adds pressure to wider scrutiny over FIFA’s ticketing, pricing and public subsidies.
