Ronaldo Nazario and Roberto Carlos are part of an investment group that has agreed to acquire 80 percent of Inter de Limeira’s football company. Club members overwhelmingly approved the structure, while the existing association will retain the remaining 20 percent.
The project could involve up to 454 million Brazilian reais over 10 years, although that figure depends on development targets. The new owners aim to rebuild the 112-year-old third-tier club financially and eventually return it to Brazil’s top division.
