Kieran McKenna, Ipswich Town, Gary O’Neil
10 June 2026
Kieran McKenna has resigned as Ipswich Town manager just weeks after guiding the club back to the Premier League. He said the decision was driven by a need to step away from management and spend time with family.
McKenna leaves after three promotions in four seasons and 105 wins from 222 matches, transforming Ipswich from a League One side into a Premier League club. Gary O’Neil is among the early names linked with replacing him.
