Hull City could start their Premier League return under a points-deduction cloud after promotion bonuses pushed them around £6m over PSR limits. Owner Acun Ilicali says the club must sell players before 1 July to fix the shortfall.
The overspend is tied to contract bonuses triggered by beating Middlesbrough in the play-off final, not routine losses. If Hull fail to raise funds, EFL rules could create a six-point sanction carried into the Premier League.
