Barcelona maintained their strong La Liga start with a 2-0 home victory over Athletic Bilbao. Raphinha opened the scoring in the 38th minute from Pedri’s pass before Fermin Lopez added the second nine minutes from time.
Lamine Yamal repeatedly threatened and struck the woodwork, while Athletic goalkeeper Unai Simon made several saves to keep the contest close. Barcelona eventually converted their dominance into a second goal and completed the match without conceding.
