Ella Toone said she is ready to return for England after missing four months with a hip stress fracture. The Manchester United midfielder is available for the Women’s World Cup qualifier against Spain, where England can seal qualification.
Toone said the injury came from overuse and forced her to rethink recovery, rest and how she manages her body. She missed key club and country games, but used the Spain and Ukraine qualifiers as motivation.
