Christian Pulisic has returned to AC Milan training after suffering a micro-fracture and bone bruise in his right leg during the United States’ World Cup defeat to Belgium. The 27-year-old had been expected to remain sidelined for several weeks.
Pulisic attempted to play through the injury before leaving the Belgium match before the hour mark. His return to team training comes before Milan’s Serie A opener at Torino and gives new coach Ruben Amorim another senior attacking option.
