Tino Livramento, England, Trevoh Chalobah, Thomas Tuchel
16 June 2026
Tino Livramento is a major doubt for England’s World Cup campaign after suffering a fresh training injury before the Croatia opener. Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah is expected to replace him if the Newcastle full-back is ruled out.
The setback follows Livramento’s recent thigh injury and could sideline him for up to four weeks, reducing Thomas Tuchel’s right-back depth. Reece James remains first choice, but his own fitness record leaves England exposed before their first match.
