Arsenal have reportedly agreed personal terms with Roma midfielder Manu Kone as they push toward a potential £43m transfer. The France international is at the World Cup while Roma face pressure to raise funds before June 30.
Kone had been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid, but Arsenal moved after PSG failed to formalise interest. Mikel Arteta views him as a physical midfield addition who could reduce Declan Rice’s defensive burden.
