LA Galaxy have sold Brazilian attacker Gabriel Pec to Cruzeiro for a club-record fee. The MLS side did not disclose the amount, but reports put the transfer at $12m plus up to $1.5m in add-ons.

Pec leaves after becoming MLS Newcomer of the Year, an All-Star and an MLS Cup winner during less than three years in Los Angeles. Galaxy called him a major contributor and wished him success on returning to Brazil.

Everton, Tottenham and Djed Spence

Everton are considering a surprise move for Tottenham defender Djed Spence as David Moyes looks to strengthen at right-back. The 25-year-old wants regular Premier League minutes despite making 30 league appearances for Spurs last season.

Paris Saint-Germain have signed 18-year-old Italian goalkeeper Alessandro Longoni on a five-year contract after his AC Milan youth deal expired. The Italy Under-19 international arrives as a long-term prospect and is set to wear number 16.

Longoni strengthens PSG’s goalkeeper depth after Renato Marin joined CD Nacional on loan. The teenager brings strong youth pedigree, including a European Under-17 title and penalty saves against Brazil at the FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Callum Wilson and Brentford

Callum Wilson is set to sign for Brentford after leaving West Ham at the end of last season. The 34-year-old free agent is in advanced talks, with the deal expected to be completed this week.

Chelsea Women have tied Aggie Beever-Jones to a long-term contract until 2030. The 22-year-old homegrown forward has become a major first-team figure, with 97 appearances and 32 goals after joining the club aged just nine.

Beever-Jones said Chelsea has been her club since childhood and called the extension a proud day. The England international adds stability to Chelsea’s attack after helping deliver domestic trophies and earning a growing role with the Lionesses.

Tottenham have completed the signing of Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali in a club-record deal worth up to £100m. The Italy international joins for an initial £92.5m, with another £7.5m possible through add-ons this summer.

Tonali said only Tottenham seriously mattered after a long call with Roberto De Zerbi convinced him to join. Spurs can fund major spending through improved stadium revenue and squad-cost headroom, even after also buying Mateus Fernandes.

Newcastle United, Hoffenheim and Bazoumana Toure

Newcastle have completed a £43m move for Hoffenheim forward Bazoumana Toure, adding a left-sided attacker after Anthony Gordon’s move to Barcelona. The 20-year-old Ivory Coast international joins after a rapid rise through Hammarby and Hoffenheim.

Newcastle needed attacking reinforcement after missing other targets and agreeing to sell Sandro Tonali to Tottenham. Toure brings speed, crossing and ball-winning energy, but Eddie Howe must develop his finishing, decision-making and Premier League adaptation.
