Dortmund Complete €35m Karetsas Deal From Genk

Borussia Dortmund have completed a deal to sign Greek midfielder Konstantinos Karetsas from Genk this summer. The highly rated talent passed his medical and signed a contract through 2031, with Dortmund paying €35m plus performance-related bonuses.

Karetsas had also been tracked by AC Milan, but the Italian club did not make a concrete move. Dortmund secure one of Europe’s brightest young talents as they continue investing heavily in players with significant development and resale potential.

Al Ahly have officially signed Algeria forward Moncef Bakrar from Dinamo Zagreb on a three-year contract this summer. Reports value the transfer at €3m with a further €500,000 in potential bonuses for the Croatian club.

The Egyptian champions completed the financial and administrative procedures through their contracts department. Bakrar joins a wider recruitment drive that has already brought Sofiane Bendjedida, Oktay Abdallah and Ali Mahmoud into Al Ahly’s first-team plans.
