Al Ahly have reportedly reached a final agreement to sell Tunisia midfielder Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane to Al Shamal for $1.7m. The 25-year-old is set to leave after one season, having made 31 appearances across all competitions.
The move could create additional opportunities for Mohamed Magdy Afsha and Omar El-Saai in Al Ahly’s midfield. Al Shamal won the race despite interest from Qatar SC and a Libyan club, according to the uploaded report.
