Borussia Dortmund are in advanced talks to sign Carney Chukwuemeka permanently from Chelsea, with a parallel push for Aaron Anselmino on loan. Chukwuemeka, limited at Chelsea, spent last season on loan at Dortmund and impressed with 17 appearances. Chelsea pushed for a permanent deal after rejecting Dortmund’s extension idea. With Gittens moving the other way earlier this summer, Chukwuemeka is primed for first-team action under Niko Kovač. Dortmund also seek Anselmino as part of their youth-focused recruitment.
