Arsenal have completed the signing of striker Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting CP in a deal worth £55m plus £8.5m in add-ons. The Swedish forward arrives on a five-year deal to bolster Mikel Arteta’s attacking options this coming season.
Arsenal targeted several forwards, including Sesko, before settling on Gyökeres. He joins a growing list of signings this window and is expected to lead the line. The Gunners see his physicality and scoring instinct as ideal to elevate their title and European campaigns.
