Bournemouth have agreed a £25m deal to sign goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic from Chelsea. The Serbia international becomes the club’s first major goalkeeper signing since their return to the Premier League.
Petrovic spent last season on loan at Strasbourg and was deemed surplus at Chelsea. Bournemouth moved quickly once his availability became clear, viewing the 25-year-old as a valuable market opportunity.
