Barcelona have confirmed midfielder Rodri will miss their upcoming La Liga match against Atlético Madrid after suffering a right hamstring injury during the Champions League victory over Aston Villa.
Rodri experienced muscular discomfort during Tuesday’s match and was replaced by Marc Bernal at half-time. Medical examinations confirmed a minor hamstring problem, although Barcelona have not established a return date. The injury comes before a direct meeting between league leaders Barcelona, on 30 points, and second-placed Atlético, on 28.
