Morocco has outlined plans to use the 2030 FIFA World Cup to accelerate nationwide infrastructure development. Federation president Fouzi Lekjaa said the strategy extends beyond the six host cities and includes accommodation, transport and regional investment.

The tournament planning documents identify 38 locations for team accommodation and facilities, spreading economic activity beyond major stadium cities. Morocco also plans to extend its high-speed railway towards Marrakesh and develop connections towards Agadir. Lekjaa said the wider programme aims to create lasting benefits from the tournament, which Morocco will co-host with Spain and Portugal.
