Forward Maddie DiMaria scored six goals, setting a new individual record for the women’s tournament.

DiMaria opened the scoring after just 63 seconds as the Americans established a 9-0 half-time lead. Ten different players scored, with Carolina Reyna and Loradana Paletta contributing twice each.
