Nottingham Forest beat Aston Villa 2-1 at Villa Park, giving Oliver Glasner his first league win as Forest coach and the club’s first victory at the ground since 1994. Villa remain winless after four matches, with three defeats.
Liam Delap scored immediately after half-time, Alysson equalised for Villa, and Igor Jesus struck the late winner after Ian Maatsen’s injury left Villa with 10 men. Forest created 22 shots as Unai Emery admitted his team were poor after the break.
