Juan Pezzera is returning to Cairo after refusing to join Zamalek’s pre-season preparations while pushing for a transfer to Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai. The Brazilian had also missed matches after making clear he wanted to leave the Egyptian champions.
Media figure Karim Ramzy said Pezzera would arrive on Saturday afternoon accompanied by four people, including a personal bodyguard. His return ends his physical absence from Cairo, but the report says his final decision over staying or leaving remains unresolved.
