Hakim Ziyech and Botafogo

Hakim Ziyech has agreed to join Brazilian club Botafogo after leaving Wydad Casablanca, according to the supplied report. The 33-year-old Morocco international has accepted a contract running until December 2028 and is expected in Rio de Janeiro next week.
Ziyech terminated his Wydad contract after a disappointing spell and considered Botafogo’s offer for several weeks before accepting. He is expected to complete formalities and be presented after arriving in Brazil, where Botafogo are trying to climb the league table.
