Folarin Balogun’s proposed $45 million move to Everton has collapsed after the United States striker chose not to sign. Concerns arose during his medical, despite Everton, Monaco and Balogun previously signing a deal sheet to extend the deadline.
Monaco said Balogun felt uncomfortable with how Everton handled questions about his medical and future health. The Ligue 1 club are now considering other markets, including Turkey and Saudi Arabia, where transfer windows remain open beyond England’s deadline.
