Folarin Balogun, Everton and Monaco

Everton have reached an agreement with Monaco for United States striker Folarin Balogun in a deal worth up to £40 million. The fee is around £35 million initially, with add-ons, and Balogun is due for a Merseyside medical.
Everton accelerated the move after Beto’s transfer to Fiorentina and amid uncertainty over Richarlison’s return. Balogun, who previously came through Arsenal’s system, has become a priority as David Moyes reshapes his attacking options before the deadline.
