Simon Adingra, Ajax and Sunderland

Ajax have agreed a season-long loan deal with Sunderland for Ivory Coast winger Simon Adingra. The 24-year-old is expected to move to Amsterdam as a left-wing reinforcement, although it remains unclear whether the agreement includes a purchase option.
Sunderland signed Adingra from Brighton for about £21.5 million in 2025 before loaning him to Monaco last winter. Ajax identified him as a successor to Mika Godts, and his current injury is expected to clear soon.
