Cavan Sullivan Sets New MLS Teenage Record

Philadelphia Union teenager Cavan Sullivan became the first 16-year-old in MLS history to record a goal contribution in four consecutive matches. He scored in a 3-1 win over New York Red Bulls, extending his run to two goals and three assists.

Sullivan now has three goals and seven assists in 20 league appearances this season, tying Freddy Adu for the most MLS goal contributions by a player aged 16 or younger. He previously became the league’s youngest debutant at 14.
