Real Madrid defeated RB Leipzig 4-1 at the Santiago Bernabéu to record their third consecutive Champions League victory. Bernardo Silva scored his first European goal for Madrid, while Arda Güler, Kylian Mbappé and Yan Diomande also found the net ahead of Sunday’s El Clásico.
Silva broke the deadlock shortly before half-time after following up a saved attempt. Güler doubled Madrid’s advantage following Mbappé’s headed pass, and Mbappé later scored from outside the penalty area. Leipzig’s Tidiam Gomis pulled one back before Diomande completed Madrid’s four-goal performance. José Mourinho’s team reached nine points from three Champions League matches and entered the Barcelona fixture with three consecutive victories across competitions.
