Giannis Konstantelias and Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund fear new signing Giannis Konstantelias may have suffered a serious knee injury during his Bundesliga debut against Hamburger SV. The 23-year-old twisted his left knee shortly after half-time and was unable to continue despite scoring earlier.
Dortmund staff performed a stability test on the pitch before Konstantelias limped off in the 54th minute. Sporting director Ole Book said there was concern about a cruciate ligament injury, while coach Niko Kovac said the initial medical information sounded bad.
