Nicolas Jackson, Aston Villa and Chelsea

Aston Villa have completed the signing of Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea in a package reportedly worth up to £65 million. The 25-year-old Senegal striker becomes Villa’s record signing and reunites with Unai Emery after previously working under him at Villarreal.
Villa are paying an initial sum reported at about £47.5 million, with further payments taking the package higher. Jackson arrives after spending last season on loan at Bayern Munich and is positioned to replace Ollie Watkins, who is set to leave.
