Ollie Watkins, Aston Villa and Al-Hilal

Al-Hilal have had four offers rejected for Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins, with their latest proposal close to £40 million still below Villa’s asking price. Watkins has been training alone and is understood to be open to the Saudi move.
Villa are prepared to play hardball before the transfer deadline, and the deal is still believed to be some way off. Al-Hilal may also need to move an overseas player before they can make room for Watkins.
