Joao Cancelo, Barcelona and Al-Hilal

Joao Cancelo has reportedly agreed to terminate his Al-Hilal contract as he works toward a permanent Barcelona return. The Portugal full-back arrived in Barcelona and said he had pushed strongly for the move after negotiations dragged on.
Barcelona had previously been expected to pay around €8m to €10m, but the reported contract termination would allow Cancelo to arrive without a transfer fee. He is expected to sign through 2029 after two previous loan spells with the Catalan club.
