Mohamed Salah made his competitive Trabzonspor debut as a second-half substitute in a 1-1 draw away to Kasimpasa. The 34-year-old Egypt captain entered after 58 minutes but could not produce a winner in his first Turkish Super Lig appearance.
Salah joined Trabzonspor on a free transfer after eight years at Liverpool and arrived to huge supporter attention. His league debut formally begins a major new chapter after a move reportedly worth €17m per season on a two-year contract.
