Cristiano Ronaldo is set to miss Al-Nassr’s first two competitive matches of the season against Al-Fateh and Al-Diriyah. The club granted its captain additional leave after Portugal’s World Cup campaign, keeping him out of the preseason preparation programme.
Ronaldo used part of the extended break to marry Georgina Rodriguez in Portugal and is expected to rejoin training when his leave ends. His absence affects both Al-Nassr’s Saudi Pro League opener and their King’s Cup round-of-32 tie.
