Southampton completed the permanent signing of Daniel Peretz from Bayern Munich on a four-year deal after his successful loan spell. The goalkeeper chose to stay at St Mary’s despite other options following a strong Championship run.
Peretz made 26 appearances and helped Southampton finish the season with a long unbeaten stretch before their play-off disqualification. The move gives him regular football after limited first-team chances behind Bayern’s senior goalkeepers.
