England will use palm-cooling devices during World Cup preparations to help players manage heat and humidity. The equipment is expected to be used in training and during planned water breaks throughout the tournament.

Temperatures reached 32C during England’s opening session in Florida, making acclimatisation a clear focus. Jordan Henderson said the squad are building capacity for the conditions, with recovery work planned before games against New Zealand and Costa Rica.
