Kieran Trippier has verbally agreed to join Wolves on a free transfer after leaving Newcastle United. The 35-year-old is expected to sign a two-year deal with an option for another season at Molineux.
Wolves want more experience after finishing bottom of the Premier League and beginning a rebuild under Rob Edwards. Trippier brings leadership, set-piece quality and homegrown status as the club reshapes a squad short on senior voices.
