Real Betis, Fenerbahce and Sofyan Amrabat
Friday
Real Betis have stepped away from another attempt to sign Morocco midfielder Sofyan Amrabat after Fenerbahce maintained a €15m asking price. Betis considered the valuation too high despite manager Manuel Pellegrini pushing for the transfer.
The stalled negotiations return Amrabat’s future to uncertainty after earlier Saudi interest. Fenerbahce refused to lower its demands, leaving Betis unwilling to proceed unless the financial terms change or the Turkish club lowers its valuation.
